先日久しぶりにバージニアから来たお友達に会いました！
She is a very nice person!

彼女はこの夏、富士山に登ったと言っていました！
Wow!!!
Many foreigners challenge to climb Mountain Fuji!


私の主人も登りましたが、私は地上で待っていました。
I got sick anyway from dehydration…

都会の夏は暑すぎて私には着いていけません。。
Have you ever climb Mt. Fuji before?

主人はお友達と私の知り合いと登りました。
My friend only spoke English so he called me while they were climbing!


知り合いも一生懸命わからない英語を頑張って聞いていたと思います。
I guide them after they came back to Tokyo.

さぁ、みなさん！今週でこの夏も終わりに近づいています！

Good afternoon, everyone!
今日も沖縄は良い天気ですね！

昨日の大雨で広島は土砂で今わかっているだけで、18人死亡が確認されたそうです。
I give my most sincere condolences to Hiroshima citizens who lost their relatives.

今年の被害は海だけに止まらず、山でも起こりうる恐いものです。
I hope no one will die in Hiroshima.
I hope rescue team will find all the people.

地球はどんどん色々な災害に見舞われています。
In the future, I hope there will be a newest technology that will prevent us from knowing what’s coming next so we can prepare.

広島にはすでに数十人のボランティアの方々が、復旧に取り組んでいるようです。
I wish I could be a help but it is a little too far to visit and I am pregnant…

沖縄でも毎年台風で街を荒らされますが、台風の恐ろしさを知らない方以外は、皆さん自宅で待機しますよね。
Although it is easier for us to survive in Okinawa due to our well-built houses, we cannot be careless to go out and climb the latter when typhoon hits Okinawa.

せっかくの命。
大切に扱いましょうね。

今日はへ～んな天気ですねぇ！
It rains a bit and sunny again!

暑い事は確かですが、夜になると少し涼しくなりましたね！
I feel hot and cold!

今週私も妊娠8ヶ月に入りました！
My goodness, the baby is heavy! I think I am heavy myself!

今日は検診でした！
They took a blood sample and I was scared…
I feel I am a chicken…

しっかり心拍数もあり、子供は順調に育っているようです！
I am happy about that for sure!

所で、この間感動する動画を見る事がありました！

A baby is listening to the mother singing for him and he cried because he was moved by his mother’s song!!!

素敵。。
思わず涙がポロリ。。
It is good to cry!
I was touched by this episode!

今日は夕方から雨のようですね♪
I hope we will have a sunny day tomorrow but tomorrow is also rainy day.

さて、本土のみなさんは今週がお盆休みでおぼんラッシュのようですね！
Transportations will be a big problem in mainland Japan!

生徒さん達はまだ夏休みの中、社会人の生徒さんはもちろん、お休みなしの月でしょうか。
I hope everyone will be safe and happy!

もちろん、夏には欠かせない「怖い話」でテレビプログラムはいっぱいのようですね。
I like those stories but I am very jumpy but I watch them anyway…

人は本当に面白い生き物です。

今日は私の父の誕生日です！

How was your Obon?
先週ウンケイがありましたが、私達は勘違いしていて先週水曜日にお供えをしに行きました。
Aren’t our ancestors lucky to come down early this year?




昨日はウークイでしたね！
場所や時間がバラバラなので、早くご先祖様に帰って頂く所は、9時ごろ。
遅い所は夜中12時だったそうです！
Good job, everyone!


今年も良い年が送れそうですね！
When we give a respect to our ancestors, we will get much happiness back!!

Today, I taught 3 years old girl!
今日は3歳の女の子に英語を教えました。

She is very smart!
とてもおりこうさんな子でクラス中、まったくイスから降りず、教えやすかったです！

I was very surprised!
こんなに小さな子なのに、じっとしていられるんだなぁっと感心しました！

I will be teaching her again on Friday but I think typhoon might hit Okinawa so I think it will be cancelled.
彼女に会えないのは寂しいけれど、また来週月曜日まで楽しみにしておきます！

Well, I hope my child will be as smart as this girl!
胎教。。効くと良いなぁ。。

さぁ、また台風が来そうですねぇ！

However, it will not hit Okinawa but we should prepare for it!
そしてまた1２号まで近づいている！！

We just had Typhoon 11!
ことしはデイゴの花が咲いているのでしょうか？

I don’t remember who told me but they said when the flower bloom, that’s a typhoon year.
ほんとうかどうかはわからないのですが、そんな事を言っていた人がいました。

Sad story…


先週、凄く悲しいお話がありましたねぇ。。
A student killed another student…

どうしたらそんな怖い発想が思い浮かぶのでしょうか？
If she wanted to die, die by yourself.

他の人を殺めるとどういう事になるのかは、わかっていると思うのですが。。
So sad, the other girl has to die…

こんなに素敵なお天気なのに。。。
Well, the weather doesn’t matter to these people, I guess…

楽しいお話といったら、ブラジルに住む126歳（？）のおじいさんのはなしですね！
We asked him what is the tip for longevity.

彼は、「ない」っと宣言したのです！（笑）
He smokes 1 pack of cigarettes a day.

素晴らしく強い肺の持ち主なのでしょう。
However, he had almost no teeth.

彼の楽しみとは一体なんでしょうね！
やはりタバコを吸えるという事でしょうか？

I wonder if I am 126, will I be enjoying the life then?
I hope I live long!



すっかり体も動けるようになったので、マタニティヨガにハマっている私です！
I will be starting a class for pregnant woman next year!

夏ですね！

さぁ、みなさん！夏休みです！！

英検も後３ヶ月わずかで来てしまいます！！

I hope everyone will be ready by then!
今、ゆっくり英検へ向けて生徒を英語に慣らせています！

そんな中、この猛暑！！
It is extremely hot!!

しかし！
こんな暑さの中で、生徒さん達は部活へ行き、今日も朝から頑張っています！
Therefore, I should do my best to teach my students today too!!

では皆さん、日射病や脱水症状を起こさない様に水分補給をしっかりお願い致します！

昨日は台風でしたね？

昨日は激しい爆風に豪雨で怖かったですよね。。
I thought windows might get broken!

窓をあんまりにも雨や風が吹き付けるので窓の心配しました～！
I'm glad the typhoon is gone!

まだ雨が降ったり降らなかったり。
少し涼しいけれど、雨のせいで窓を開けておく事ができません。

Choice

Good afternoon, everyone!
今日はどう人が「選択」して決断するのかを考えてみましょう♪

How do you choose?
やりたい事、やりたくない事
やらなければいけない事。

それぞれ選択するのは自分でも、人はよく周りの人に決断を振り回されてしまう時があります。

Is it easy to decide?
決めるのは簡単？
そんな訳はありません。

The choice you make may affect other people.
そこで「責任」と言う言葉が初めてうまれます。

Do you feel you need to decide depending on other people?
それは個人個人違うかもしれませんが、人は苦しい選択をしなければいけない時があります。

そんな時私は大まかに２通りに分け、どちらを取るかを考える様にしています。
Both choices are very difficult to decide anyway.
However, you need to decide one or the other.

私も色々な生徒さんに毎週お会いしますが、若い生徒さんから熟年の方々まで選択しなくてはいけないのは変わりません。

今日も晴天ですね！！
私もだいぶつわりが落ち着いてきました！！

I am now in the stage of teaching fetus both English and Japanese.
赤ちゃんは色々な言語を堪能に活用でき、応用出来るそうなのでスペイン語やフランス語、イタリア語、中国語などを聞かせて行こうとおもっています！

I saw a T.V. and learned there are difficult pregnancies in the world.
お！お腹がポコポコしています！！
聞こえているのかなぁ？

I am lucky to have a son who is healthy and I hope to give a natural birth. C-section seems very sore…
まぁ、きっと最終的に決められないのだという事は知っているのですが。。

今日は妊娠中に何が出来るかを考えてみました！
I can talk to fetus!

子供がお腹の中にいるときの事を胎児と言いますが、私は今妊婦２３週目でして、２２週目から２４週にかけて胎児の聴覚が非常に発達すると聞いています。

Therefore, I'm listening to the Disney songs!
My baby boy is happy!
He kicks my stomach!

可愛くて仕方がありません(≧▽≦)/
お腹をポコポコします(^^)/

I hope he'll learn English fast o(^▽^)o
楽しくディズニーを聞かせてみようと思います！

私は海水の風でベトベトになっても海にいきたいですねぇ！

Of course, I don’t want to burn myself but still, I would like to visit the beach!
近くでいえば、豊崎のビーチですねぇ。
今は妊娠中で日焼けをしやすいので、海にはいけませんが子供が生まれたら行きたいですねぇ。

The ocean makes me happy!
海はなんだか安心できる所ですねぇ。

I don’t know why.
なぜでしょう？
