カナダの話を続けましょう♪
In Canada, many people use metro for their transportation.
そんな訳で路上には車を持っている人以外、あまり人がいないのです。
なんといっても寒いですから。
In Montreal, I saw Notre Dame.
小耳にはさんだ豆知識。
このノートロダムス教会で、有名なセリーヌ・ディオンが大きな大きな結婚式を挙げたとか。
彼女はタイタニックの「My heart will go on」と言う歌を歌い大ヒットしました。
そして彼女はフランス語もペラペラ。
I thought she was French!!!
セリーヌはカナダ人だったのです！
I am very surprised to hear this!
そしてモントリオールで生まれ育ったそうです！
そんな祖国で彼女は結婚式を挙げたくて、このノートロダムスの教会で式を挙げたそうです。
It’s always good to remember and honor your home town!
自分の生まれ育った所はやはり、とても大切な所です。
Where were you born and how do you feel about your home town?
そしてその生まれ育った場所の事を私たちはどれだけ知っているのでしょうか?
