今日は10月最後の金曜日です!
What are you going to do today?
クラスに来る生徒さんがいれば、塾に通う生徒さん、それに出張で本土に行く生徒さん。
学校には様々な生徒さんがお越しになります。
I like to teach many different people.
教える。
この言葉は先生方にはよく耳にする言葉ですが、生徒さんは「教える」っという言葉についてどう思っていますか?
Have you ever taught anyone before?
Was it easy?
Was it fun?
この「教える」と言う言葉を、違う意味にとらえる事があります。
For example, to teach doesn’t mean to scold.
To teach means to learn and progress.
教えるは、生徒さんが希望している道に導くという事です。
We will do our best to teach but in order for you to succeed, you need to come half way.
英語で、
「私も半分の地点まで行きます。あなたも私の方へ向かって半分まで歩いて来て下さい。」
という表現があります。
これは、よく人間関係で使われる言葉の一つなのですが、この言葉は「教える」と言う言葉は、とても密接な関係を持っています。
I can teach you English.
You think you can’t walk but actually, you can.
一歩前へ進む事、一歩後ろへ下がって考える事。
この二つの行動を行うと、何が生まれると思いますか?
You will have positive attitude.
プラス思考になる事が出来ます。
「教える」っという言葉の中で私が学んでいる事は、生徒さんを常にプラスに考えさせ、少しでも英語力をアップさせる事にあります。
人は「マイナス」に考えると、どんどん後ろに下がって行き、最終的にうつ病の様な症状が出るのです。
If you think learning is hard, don’t worry, it is hard for me too.
We learn together and I know you can do the same.
諦めない心、折れない心を養うには、今来た道を真っ直ぐ前に進むだけなのです。
I will always support and be on your side.

It's very hard for me to teach the other people.
I think there is one reason that I don't have any confidence.
On one occasion, I had experienced to teach some students making X'mas wreath as an assistant of flower arrangment.
I enjoyed the lesson very much because I was used to do it.
I gess I love enjoying together rather than teaching.

I understand you taught someone before and I can understand to teach is not a funny joke.
You need to prepare before hand and deal with a situation where students ask various questions.
However, you seem to enjoy teaching by doing the activities together with students.
Yes, I hope you will be able to join us for the next movie day!
