Unkei and Ukui
How were your Obon holidays?
お盆は色々な親戚にお会い出来ましたか？
I certainly did!
主人の祖父母は健在で、おじいさんは長男なので親戚一同はその祖父母のお家に集まります。
I went on the first day, Unkei day. It was very interesting!
初めてウンケイの儀式に参加したので、とてもウキウキしていました。
I couldn’t attend the Ukui. I went to the grandparents-in-law’s house.
実家の方のウークイに参加しなくてはいけなかったので、早めに帰って来ました。
We went to Ukui close to 10 P.M.
家族みんな仕事が立て込んでいて終わったのがその時間でした。
What did you learn from Unkei and Ukui?
今回、親戚類の方々にお会いした生徒さん達は、彼らから何を学ぶことが出来ましたか？

A family's event is good.

We know a lot of Okinawan culture were introduced by China.
Okinwa's Bon is one of things.
During Bon holiday, we can feel to close our ancestors.
I think it's important for us to gather andtalk and enjoy dinner with our relatives.
I also went to my brother's home and enjoyed!

I'd already been in bad health.)
