Time management
We will talk about how to use time today.
How do you use your time: part 1.
Situation: Meeting someone
Do you go to the meeting place earlier? Just on time or do you get there late?
We have Okinawan time. I don’t blame anyone. Okinawa is an island and some of us have no control of time.
If you are going to be late, how do you tell the other person? Do you say…
I am so sorry; I will be 5, 10 minutes late.
I will be late, sorry!
You will not give that person a call.
What if at last minutes, you had a change in plan? How do you tell them?
How do you expect the other person’s reaction would be?
Think about how you can manage the time.
Being there at the time for the meeting is your action of courtesy and it comes along with respect.
Let me know how you manage your time.
Mahalo for today.

Meeting someone...
I usually make an effort I will not be late.
But, If I am going to be late,
I will give that person a call as soon as possible.
I guess, it might be common courtesy.
Thank you for your excellent work.
See you on Fri.

You are the one who is an excellent writer!
Yes, I agree with you and yes, it is common courtesy.
Dismally, there are some people who are not in control of their own time. When we need to deal with those people who are irresponsible, we will waste our time for nothing.
I wish when we are in a category of “adult”, or consider ourselves as an adult; we will keep the common rules of the society. I believe it is also a time to show our dignity.
I wish many of us will think like you, Tazu! You are a good teacher for the society!
See you soon on Friday and since we are having a great weather this week, we can hang our clothes outside!! I feel extremely happy!!
Mahalo!
