First Woman Cosmonaut
今日は初めて宇宙に行った女性のお話をしましょう！
By the way, it is “cosmonaut” in Russia and “astronaut” in U.S.
言い方が違うだけで、どちらも宇宙飛行士です。
Her name is Valentina Tereshkova （←長い名前ですよねぇ。。ロシア人に多い名前ですね。）
She went in space on June 16, 1963. She was interested in parachuting in her young age. She was ambitious about many things.
その後、彼女は４人の女性宇宙飛行士と共に色々なテストを受けましたが、 ヴァレンティーナさん以外は試験に落ちてしまいました。
She went on the space by herself.
勇気ある行動ですよね。
彼女は今でもロシア行政で働いているそうです。
If we have a chance to become an astronaut, what do you want to do in the space?
どれだけの責任が課せられ、どれだけの研究をして来なくてはいけないのでしょうか。
I am sure it is beyond our expectation.
