Once again, today is a sunny day and very hot with nice cool breeze! I love it!
さぁ、今日は「持続」と言う言葉の意味を考えてみましょう！
Do you know the runner, Mr. Kawauchi? He is participating on the marathons from last year December and up to this past Sunday, he has run 7 times within just 3 months! He must really love to run!!
彼は本当に頑張っていますね。7回出場したマラソン大会の中でなんと、5回優勝しています。
He will continue to run this year also.
Do you have any hobby or hobbies that you do each week? Do you continue your hobby or did you quit?
私はアメリカ留学してから2年後、英語に自信が付いた時から英語を教えています。かれこれ21年が経ちます。
I’ve taught many students from Japanese, Koreans, Chinese, Indians, Egyptians, and etc.
これだけの長い間、色々な人に英語を教えて来ましたが、今からもずっと英語を教え続けて行くのだと確信しています。
Why do I teach? I love to teach for one. I love to see my students come to my class and learn English.
最近、アメリカから帰国した生徒さんから、「先生は厳しかった」っと言われたので、「簡単な方が良かった？」と聞くと、「アメリカで着いていけなかっただろう」と言われました。
I teach English with love. I love all my students and I want them to do their best. My best interest is to see them smile. Yes, I am strict but I devote myself to teach and when they need a good hug, I give them with full compassion.
教える事は、教えられる事でもあり、苦い思いもするときもあるけれど、それを乗り越える事もまた、生徒に支えられながら出来る事。
Therefore, I will never stop teaching. I will continue to teach English until the end of my time.
